Last month Kat and I went to teach at Midwest Wild Harvest Festival in Prairie Du Chien, Wisconsin. My friend Sam Thayer hosts the event, and there's a handful of teachers and about 200 students that get together for 3 days to learn about foraging, feasting, living with the land, and we went to teach about herbs!
Alan Bergo, @foragerchef , has a team in the kitchen that prepares the most delectably amazing wild foraged or hunted meals that are fit for a freaking fancy 4 course meal. It's unreal. So besides eating very, very well, Kat and I also taught 2 classes: Rewilding with Wild Spices, Salts, and Sugars (click through to get access if you haven’t yet!) and Making Your Own Apothecary.
We based these two classes out of our Plant Camp @ Home course. We pulled a dozen + pages from the 600 page course, and made those two “Mini-Courses” out of them. It was a total hit, students got to take home a yarrow and piñon salve, poultice blend of plantain and yarrow, and tea formulation for healing the skin and gut.
Inside you’ll find:
An introduction to infusing oils
Recipes and Formulations
Materia Media of yarrow, piñon, and plantain
A 5% OFF CODE for Plant Camp @ Home
Did you know that when you join Plant Camp @ Home you get access to our members only Bulk Herb Shop? AND they're always 30% OFF!
