Verbascum Thapsus
Verbascum Thapsus
Each part of the mullein plant has its own medicinal uses. Flowers are used for the ears when infused into oils as a pain reliever and for clearing infection. Leaves are helpful for supporting the lungs when they are dry and inflamed from smoke, irritants, or infection. Roots can be extracted in alcohol or oils to help bring alignment to the spine or other misaligned areas of the body when taken internally as a tincture or used as a topical oil or salve.
