Grindelia Species
Grindelia species
Gumweed is the common name for this highly aromatic and resinous plant. It has a similar affinity to calendula but with a wild side and stronger capability in healing tissues. It helps rejuvenate tissue cells inside and outside, making it useful for improving the integrity of skin and mucous membranes. Grindelia is anti-inflammatory and an expectorant which makes it a good choice for helping to calm inflamed lung tissues while encouraging a productive cough.
