Alnus Species
Alnus species
An alder tree grows on riverbanks monitoring the swell, year in and year out, as it is rooted into stabilizing the banks. The medicine it provides is similar in that way to the lymphatic system. It helps provide movement when there is stagnation sitting in the lymphs, gently softening the nodes to let them shift out the changes that need to take place in order for the body to heal and continue its flow. It also has anti-inflammatory properties making it useful in soothing sore muscles and skin ailments.
